COVID-19 Patient Guidance
Your safety continues to be our priority
We continue to have our patients' and team members' safety at the heart of everything we do.
We continue to follow the latest guidance laid down by the UK Health Security Agency and our professional bodies.
We ask our patients and their companions/chaperones to wear a face covering when they come into the practice if they can. We have face coverings available if you forget to bring one.
If you have been informed that you are at higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19, please let us know so that we can ensure that we put extra safety measures in place.
Please do not come into practice if you have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection such as:
-
High temperature or fever
-
New, continuous cough
-
A loss or alteration to taste or smell
-
Runny nose
-
Sore throat
-
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
Get in touch with the practice so that we may assess your needs and prioritise your eye care.
We follow the latest Infection Prevention Control guidance which includes:
Frequent hand washing or sanitising. We have hand sanitiser available in practice for use by our patients.
Sanitising frames after you've tried them on
Disinfecting any of our equipment that touches patients - such as headrests and chinrests
If you have any specific health or Covid safety standards that you would like to discuss, please contact the practice.
